The Official Website of the Village of Choudrant
"Louisiana's Front Porch"

Nestled in the piney hills, nine miles east of Ruston, Louisiana, is The Village of Choudrant.  Choudrant is a growing community of of about 800 whose residents enjoy small town living with convenient access to both Ruston and Monroe.

Choudrant's residents have a variety of housing options from rural acreages to million dollar golf-course homes at Squire Creek (which is also one of the finest golf courses and private country clubs in the South).

Choudrant's children attend school in the community at public schools that are among the finest in the region.  There are also several fine private schools in the parish.

Choudrant's employers have access to college graduates, university resources and expertise from Louisiana Tech, Grambling State University and University of Louisiana at Monroe - all within 20 miles of Choudrant.  Choudrant is also well served by transportation networks -  I-20 and US Hwy 80 both run through Choudrant.  Choudrant is on the main east-west rail line and Choudrant is about 20 miles from a commercial airport (Monroe).
