ORDINANCE NO. 51
AN ORDINANCE, revoking the dedication of a portion of North Depot Street in the Town of Choudrant, Lincoln Parish, Louisiana.
Section 1. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMAN OF THE TOWN OF CHOUDRANT, LOUISIANA, IN REGULAR SESSION, CONVENED, that the dedication of the following portion of North Depot Street in the Town of Choudrant, Lincoln Parish, Louisiana, as a public street, is hereby revoked and set aside in accordance with the provisions of LSA R.S. 48:701, to-wit:
That portion of North Depot Street lying between the West right-of-way line of Pine Street and the East right-of-way line of Elm Street, in the Town of Choudrant, Lincoln Parish, Louisiana, all pursuant to the original Plat and Map of the Town of Choudrant, Louisiana, on file and of record in the office of the Clerk of Court of Lincoln Parish, Louisiana, which property is more particularly described as follows: Begin at the Southwest corner of Block B of the said Town of Choudrant, Louisiana, and run thence in a southwesterly direction, and along the easterly right-of-way line of Elm Street, for a distance of 60 feet, more or less, and to a point on the South right-of-way line of North Depot Street; thence run in an easterly direction along the South right-of-way line of said Depot Street for a distance of 300 feet, more or less, and to its intersection with the westerly right-of-way line of Pine Street; thence run in a northerly direction along the westerly right-of-way line of Pine Street, for a distance of 60 feet, and to the southeast corner of said Block B; thence run in a westerly direction, along the South line of said Block B, and along the Northerly line of Depot Street, a distance of 300 feet, more or less, and to the point of beginning,
And the parcel of ground described hereinabove shall revert to the present owner or owners of the land contiguous thereto, as provided for by law.
This Ordinance was considered by the Board of Alderman and was adopted on this the 3 rdday of April, 1989, on the following roll call vote after reading of the title of the Ordinance, to-wit:
