Alderwoman Geraline "Skip" Morrison

Skip graduated from Calhoun High School  and afterwards attended Vo Tech. She worked for Commerical Union Insurance for 8 years.

Skip moved to Choudrant in 1957 after marrying husband Bud Morrison. They have one daughter, Janet Morrison Humble and one grandson. Skip and Bud have owned and operated Morrison Builders Supply for 42 years and she has worked for their company for 34 years.

Skip was elected to Town Council in November 2006. Of her qualifications, Skip said "with  business experience and meeting the public over these years, I feel I can be of good service to our community".

Skip feels that with our steady growth and teamwork, our small town can be the safest and most desirable community in Northeast Louisiana.
